Job Summary

This position performs various imaging exams for patients following established techniques and procedures. The technologist is familiar with patient care involving Radiography, Computed Tomography, and DEXA. Provides technical skills and performs routine diagnostic procedures, sets up and operates stationary and mobile x-ray equipment, and acquires radiographs and CT scans of various body parts to assist practitioners in detection of foreign bodies and diagnosis of disease or injury. Rotating on-call shifts required. Opportunity for advancement with modality certification. Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT certification in Radiography required. Iowa Permit to Practice required. CPR certification required . CT scan experience preferred.

Hours to be worked weekly: Monday to Thursday 10 am - 8:30 pm.

Full Weekend coverage every 20 weeks. Occasional Call

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

    Experience:

  • Radiography experience

  • CT experience preferred

    License(s)/Certification(s):

  • ARRT certification in Radiography

  • Iowa Permit to Practice

  • CPR certified

  • ARRT certification in CT
