How you will make a difference every day...

  • Facilitate competitive selection processes by consulting with managers to understand talent needs; prepare interview teams, develop strategic questions, and select candidate assessments

  • Collaborate with managers to identify hiring needs and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions used to develop selection criteria

  • Create and implement sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates; social recruiting, job boards, job fairs, on-campus events, and sponsorship opportunities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with educational institutions, employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants

  • Stay abreast of industry and business trends related to recruitment, maintain compliance with legal regulations and with organization goals and policies

  • Assist in gathering and analyzing data for HR metrics related to recruiting

  • Maintain ongoing relationships with new team members to assist in the transition to successful team members and continually evaluate onboarding practices

  • Participate in and support various HR projects and initiatives as assigned

To be successful in this role it may help to possess...

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related area and 5 years of related HR experience

  • HR or recruitment experience working in Engineering, IT, Sales, or other specialized recruiting

  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Demonstrated ability to use recruiting tools such as social media, job boards, advertising, and external sourcing

  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills

  • Effective communication skills

  • Exceptional time management skills to manage multiple open positions at a time

  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects

  • Business acumen to understand employment needs and trends

  • Ability to understand technical job responsibilities of various roles

  • Knowledge of AAP and OFCCP Requirements
