This role develops action plans to achieve project goals and objectives related to testing through all phases of the software development life cycle.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1. Lead through the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors. Manage assigned team members in performance of their duties. Establish and monitor individual and team goals which are aligned with the organization's business strategies and objectives and ensure department is properly serving its internal and external customers and meeting defined expectations.2. Create, maintain and improve manual and automated test plans, test cases and test suites to support various levels of testing using various types of testing tools and software languages (Ranorex, Visual Studio Test Tools, C#, .NET Framework objects, T-SQL/SQL, etc.).3. Perform tests that focus on the functionality, performance, scalability, regression and reliability of products. Track and analyze defect test results against specific test cases and code paths in order to find failures and inconsistencies of product code prior to release.4. Participate in designing, developing and implementing automated builds and continuous integration processes. Participate in regular review meetings with various project team members to ensure quality is being maintain throughout the software development life-cycle.5. Work with leadership and implementation teams on the sign-off and release cycles to certify final software and documents prior to production releases.Education and/or Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering or related field with a minimum of 5 years of service related experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.- Previous experience with Quality Assurance testing tools required.Computer Skills- Experience capturing test requirements, business logic and rules as well as technical implementation from developers, test cases, bugs, and generating test plans using automated tools such as Selenium, HP Ranorex and TFS.- Experience using MS Office and MS Project to create QA-related documentation and artifacts.- Demonstrated knowledge of the Agile/Scrum software development, QA and software release processes.- Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows CE and Windows 10), object oriented design/development, and .NET Framework.Other Skills and Abilities- Ability to write test cases and execute testing within web and native environments.- Ability to read and interpret application code / test scripts.- Ability to provide informative and professional assistance when working with the public/customers and co-workers and maintain positive interpersonal relationships which encourage openness.- Ability to create accurate, professional and error-free documents in a timely manner.- Demonstration of good oral and written communication skills.- Ability to be a team leader and mentor.- Ability to evaluate a negative situation and turn it into a positive situation.- Ability to provide customers with high level of customer service.- Experience with customer facing software applications support.TravelUp to 5%
