Requirements

What you will do:

  • Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate data entry and proper coding.

  • Prepare and process payments (checks, electronic transfers, etc.) according to payment schedules.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies in a timely manner.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date AP records, ensuring compliance with company policies. Will be cross trained in AR.

  • Ensure all financial transactions are entered accurately and consistently in the accounting system.

  • Identify and resolve data inconsistencies to maintain the integrity of financial records.

  • Regularly update vendor, and customer in accounting software.

  • Assist in generating customer invoices and recording revenue transactions.

  • Support AR follow-up efforts to ensure timely collections.

  • Assist in providing transaction records and documentation for internal and external audits.

What we are looking for:

  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, with some familiarity with accounts receivable.

  • Experience in Great Plains, preferred but not necessary.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
