: The welding team members are responsible for constructing the frames of trailers through permanently joining metal parts using high heat application to form a permanent bond.Essential Job Duties:iAble to work in a team environment to achieve production goalsiKnow the different types of trailers produced by NovaeiWeld steel components utilizing MIG welding equipmentiPerform overhead, horizontal, vertical, and continuous weldsiCut steel using a plasma cutteriInspect, clean, and grind welds to prepare the trailer for the next processiRead, follow, and understand blue printsiRead and understand work ordersiRead a tape measure, square, and leveliComplete all quality documents in an accurate and timely manneriAssist in other areas as needed and perform other duties as assignedQualifications and RequirementsiHigh school diploma/GEDiSix months welding experience AND/OR completion of the Novae Weld SchooliGood physical condition with the ability to safely lift 80 pounds with prolonged periods of standingiWilling to submit a pre-employment background check and urine drug screenRequired PPEiSafety GlassesiSteel Toed Boots/ShoesiGlovesiEar Plugs required at all timesiSleevesiWeld HelmetiBump cap if under a traileriGrinding ShieldiLeather foot covers- if boots have laces
