The Employee Experience Manager reports to the Director of HR Colleague Experience and supports the design and implementation of high-impact, scalable, and sustainable talent programs in line with Stout’s business objectives. In partnership with the Learning Team; Human Resources Team; and Leadership Teams across client services, this role advances organizational effectiveness and enables talent development across Stout.

Functional Leadership

  • Partner with the Director of HR Colleague Experience, senior leadership, and subject matter experts to understand business priorities and translate into programs to build organizational and functional capability.

  • Collaborate to support design of processes that deliver solutions needed to optimize talent management and enhance organizational effectiveness across Stout to achieve business objectives.

Talent Management

  • Support talent strategies and processes that attract, develop, engage, and retain talent.

  • In partnership with the HR Director, build organizational capability by developing processes and tools for talent assessment, succession management, performance management, career and individual development, leadership development, and team development.

  • Support talent reviews and performance management process to strengthen the talent pipeline.

  • Assist HR Director and Business Partners in the measurement and tracking of talent, including creation of action plans tied to specific talent programs, linked to career path mapping and monitoring of actions to drive progress.

  • Champion practices to improve individual and organizational performance, serving as the subject matter expert on performance and talent development, including goal-setting, talent assessment, and feedback.

  • Supports the administration of performance management processes and updates through the annual performance management year, including ownership of communications, partnership with stakeholders and proactive participation reporting

  • Partner with system specialists and support vendors to implement, enable, and maintain talent and performance capabilities and enhance user experience.

  • Demonstrate ownership mindset in managing external vendors and partners associated with talent development efforts.

Organizational Effectiveness

  • Utilize change management principles and methodology to support organizational change initiatives that move people forward and achieve targeted, sustainable, and scalable business results.

  • Serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert for organizational effectiveness by providing practical guidance on methodology, tools, and implementation. This includes developing and maintaining toolkits and resources to enhance team processes and build organizational effectiveness capability across Stout.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements supported by comprehensive and achievable plans for implementation.

  • Identify, monitor, and report key metrics to measure the impact of L&T programs.


  • Bring new and innovative ideas, people policy changes, and new programs that will enhance the organizational culture and the employee experience, fostering an organization-wide culture and practice of inclusion and belonging.

  • Be a strategic thought partner for HR Director and leadership teams to maximize employee engagement and support continued culture initiatives

  • Champion a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace

Position Criteria

  • Proven success developing and designing OD and talent strategies that drive business results and performance

  • Demonstrated experience developing collaborative business partnerships with cross-functional leadership to achieve results

  • Strong sense of ownership and initiative with a focus on creating solutions

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking

  • Effectively manages complex projects and multiple priorities

  • Strong influence and communication skills

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or similar

  • Minimum of 5 years in Organizational Development or Human Resources with direct experience in performance and talent management.

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree

  • Experience implementing and managing performance management systems

  • Experience in the professional services industry preferred but not required
