Aerotek Water Technician in Riverdale, Iowa

Aerotek is not hiring for a Water Technician. $16/hr+Benefits

Description:

Our client is the Environmental and water quality contractor at this facility and needs someone to work in their testing department which is basically the wastewater part of the plant. They process and ensure water enter and leaving the plant is environmentally safe

Initially this person will be overseeing the well water filters, change them, take water quality readings and switch valves.

Test and Analyze data

Document information into the software system

Change water filters

Communicate status with plant managers

Complete lock out tag out

Calibration of probes and process equipment

Qualifications:

6 mo of water processing, machine operator, lab or quality experience

Ability to lift 50lbs

6p-6a; All thirds no swing on this

The work on the floor is dependent on when the machines are running. This person needs to be a self starter because there is a lot of down time. We expect that this person is reading and training for other duties during this down time.
