Lumberyard Truck Driver
$17/hr.
Full-time, hours vary basedon delivery demand
A local lumber company in the Sioux Center, IA area is searching for a hard-working, detail-oriented, and professional driver to join their team. The Lumber Truck Driver is responsible for the delivery of lumber and lumberyard products in a timely manner while striving to meet the demands of the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Attend all scheduled safety meetings, follow all safety and standard operating procedures.
- Weigh each order or load as applicable, check production variances.
- Complete and turn in truck delivery record daily.
- Clean truck interior and exterior as needed and when time permits.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
- High school diploma,GEDor equivalent.
- CDLlicense as applicable to truck.
- Ability to bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs. frequently.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others.
