HR Business Partner

$100k + DOE

Monday – Friday, day shift

Local client is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support. This role is critical to aligning our people strategy with our business objectives and driving organizational success. SUMMARY :

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a strategic partner who collaborates with business leaders to develop and implement HR initiatives that drive organizational performance. The HRBP acts as a consultant, advisor, and change agent, providing expertise in areas such as talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development. This role requires a deep understanding of the business, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to translate business needs into effective HR solutions.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Strategic Partnership:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters.

  • Understand the business strategy and align HR initiatives to support its achievement.

  • Participate in strategic planning meetings and provide HR insights.

  • Analyze business data and trends to identify HR opportunities and challenges.

Talent Management:

  • Develop and implement talent acquisition and retention strategies.

  • Manage the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and development planning.

  • Identify and develop high-potential employees and succession plans.

  • Support workforce planning and organizational design initiatives.

Employee Relations:

  • Provide guidance and support to managers on employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and performance concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

  • Conduct investigations and resolve employee disputes.

  • Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.

Organizational Development:

  • Lead change management initiatives, including organizational restructuring and process improvements.

  • Facilitate team development and conflict resolution.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

  • Support organizational culture initiatives.

HR Program Management:

  • Implement and manage HR programs and initiatives, such as compensation and benefits, learning and development, and employee engagement.

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide reports to business leaders.

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and communicated effectively.

  • Work with HR specialist teams to implement company-wide HR initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on HR business partnering.

  • Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and organizational development.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Experience working with different HRIS systems.

  • Skills:

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Analytical skills.
