Job Position: Journeyman Electrician Job Type: Full-Time Location: Sioux City, IA 51105 Pay Rate: 40+hr | DOE Job Summary: Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM- 5:00 PM Description We are currently seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, ensuring that they operate safely and efficiently. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, both residential and commercial, and contribute to the overall success of our team. *Responsibilities*
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in accordance with local and national electrical codes
- Collaborate with contractors, architects, and other professionals to determine electrical needs and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, or malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements
- Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, including inspecting and testing circuits, transformers, and other components
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement effective solutions
- Ensure that electrical work meets quality standards and is completed on time and within budget
- Keep accurate records of electrical work performed, including materials used and time spent on each project
* Requirements*
Valid journeyman electrician license
Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
Familiarity with local and national electrical codes and regulations
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
