Objectives/Purpose of Job:
Support the qualification and maintenance of external suppliers of active pharmaceutical ingredients, excipients, components, 3rd party testing labs, and R&D materials.
Qualifying suppliers per Corporate and local procedures
Conducting supplier audits
Preparing audit agendas, audit reports, and related documents
Completing supplier risk assessments and maintaining them in a current state
Preparing and maintaining quality agreements
Maintaining accurate supplier files both hardcopy and electronic
Using CATSWeb to track suppliers, supplier deliverables, and audits
Preparing and updating the site annual supplier audit plan
BS or BA degree in a technical or scientific discipline. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
Pharmaceutical experience is required.
Audit experience (internal, external, or a combination).
High level of competency using MS office applications.
High level of competency using quality management software (TrackWise, CATSWeb, etc.).
Knowledge of industry regulations and standards such as ISO 13485, 21 CFR 210 & 211, CFR 820. Knowledge of international regulations highly preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated individual with ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess basic math skills.
