Current Opening:
Woodruff Construction is looking for an Contract Administrator out of its Waterloo, Iowa area office. The Contract Administrator oversees the administration, coordination, and management of construction contracts to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements. This role serves as a liaison between project stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and internal teams, and ensures that all contractual obligations are met effectively.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business administration, related field
3+ years of experience in contract administration, paralegal, construction management, Project Coordinator or Administrative related role.
Familiarity with construction project workflows and documentation a plus
Knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., AIA, FIDIC) a plus
Knowledge of legal terms a plus
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Detail-oriented with problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
