Duties and Essential Job Functions i Research and follow up on all sales leads.i Prospect for new freight opportunities.i Close new sales to meet individual and corporate goals i Negotiate rates with customers under the guidance of the VP of Sales & Marketing. i Onboard new customers, ensuring a smooth transition. i Handoff new customers to Customer Service within 90 days of closing.i Solicit loads from new customers.i Bring solutions to the table for closing new business; knowing when to escalate. i Communicates with Warren department managers to assess and distribute current information on the development and needs of customers. i Performs other duties, tasks, or responsibilities as assigned.Education and Experiencei Bachelor's Degree or Associate Degree preferred or equivalent work experience.i 1-2 years of sales or sales experience in a business-to-business sales environment.i Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.i Strong sales and negotiation skills.i Excellent time management and organizational skills.i Hard-worker with a drive for results who can persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks.i Strong work ethic and sense of integrity, trustworthy.i Excellent customer service skills.i Excellent verbal communication skills.i Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
