Actalent LEED Construction Architect in Waterloo, Iowa

Description:

Provide firmwide leadership in sustainable practices and firm culture

Implement innovative sustainable design strategies and methodologies

Engage with staff, clients and consultants to develop strategies for achieving sustainability goals for building design, construction and/or operations

Knows energy modeling software and is capable of training others.

Review specifications to make sure practices are aligning with sustainable practices.

Works with a specification writers

Research new tools and methods for use on projects and workflows

Excellent written and verbal skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office

LEED Certified

Familiar with WELL building standard.

Most of the work is collaborative work - team infrastructure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
