Your Responsibilities

As a Maintenance Engineer- Offshiftfor John Deere Power Systems located in Waterloo, IA you will...

  • Drive equipment improvements to increase reliability and availability

  • Assist skilled trades with troubleshooting and repair

  • Investigate and implement preventive and predictive maintenance projects and processes

  • Create procedures and technical drawings

What Skills You Need

  • 3 years of experience with industrial electrical and mechanical systems

  • Excellent communication skills

  • 3 years of experience working in a cross-functional team

  • 5 years of demonstrated problem solving

  • 5 years of troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis

  • 1 year of experience with MS Office applications and general computer usage

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Strong drive to improve the business

  • Engineering and manufacturing experience

  • Experience with PLCs and robots

  • Experience with SAP and AutoCAD

  • Knowledge of capital budgeting and project justification

Education

Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field
