PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT*
Coordinates shipments of energy products to the company facilities and direct ship customers. Promotes and solicits direct ship sales and assists with the daily functions necessary to manage company inventory and price risks.
- ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS*
Performs daily dispatching, ordering and processing of refined fuels and propane and all direct shipments to customers.
Processes daily supplier price sheet and company retail price sheets and their appropriate distribution.
Processes and distributes daily and/or weekly commercial bids to the appropriate parties.
Records and processes all inbound loads.
Monitors and controls shrink from inbound loads and direct ship sales.
Communicates all necessary information between company employees, GROWMARK transportation and logistics and common carriers.
Communicates with direct ship customers to retain current business and grow new direct ship business.
Coordinates and prioritizes duties which will require multi-tasking.
Maintains accounts receivable of all direct customers.
Invoices all direct ship loads on a timely basis and verifies adequate margins are generated.
Assists with the development of procedures and controls to assure compliance with company Risk Management Policies.

Supports and contributes to total company goals and objectives through collaboration efforts.
Follows GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Normally requires an Associate’s degree in Agriculture, Business, or Safety, or the equivalent combination of education and 2-3 more years or more of related experience to demonstrate knowledge in the agricultural or safety disciplines.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Prefer an understanding of GROWMARK risk management, energy products, and services.
Must be able to obtain and maintain all applicable training, permits, and certifications.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record, and have the ability to travel independently and overnight.
Ability to work extended hours and on-call as business conditions warrant.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.
