Job Description:

Our Human Resources team is currently seeking a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) Analyst for our West Burlington, Iowa location. This opportunity can also be hybrid or fully remote for Iowa and Illinois residents.

Based in southeast Iowa, Great River Health serves a tristate region that includes Iowa, Illinois and Missouri. Its hospital, Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, has campuses in West Burlington, Mount Pleasant and Fort Madison, Iowa.

Job Description:

  • Support various Workday modules including Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Talent, Time Off, Absence Management and Recruiting (Preference for someone strong in Payroll, Benefits & Recruiting)

  • Support Kronos Timekeeping and Attendance modules

  • Analyze, identify, and implement Human Resource system tools and processes

  • Research, analyze and test release notes for future improvements

  • Ensure accuracy of data through routine data audits and validation

  • Provide functional support for end users helping troubleshoot and resolve system issues

  • Provide training and documentation to HR and other end users

  • Own and support special projects from start to finish

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Required

  • 2+ years HR systems experience either Human Resources (HR) or Information Technology (IT)

  • 2+ years Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, including building, configuring, customizing, implementing, and supporting the software

  • Experience with configuring and supporting payroll and/or timekeeping software, such as Kronos timekeeper or similar

  • Experience in project management and/or implementations

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite software

  • Strong functional knowledge of HR processes and demonstrated ability to define process improvements

  • Ability to effectively document, track, troubleshoot HR applications

  • Experience in developing test scripts and executing effective test plans and procedures

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Customer service oriented

  • Analytical and detail oriented (ability to compile and analyze data)

  • Demonstrable experience crafting and modifying reports

  • Ambitious, takes initiative and can work independently

  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and multi-task in a dynamic environment

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
