Robert Half has partnered with a professional services organization in West Des Moines seeking an Accounting Specialist for a part-time contract opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including processing accounts payable, auditing, and maintaining accurate financial records. This position is a part-time contract opportunity that averages 25-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Entering and processing AP invoices digitally

• Ensuring the correct coding of invoices for organizational consistency

• Regular and consistent communication with clients

• Regular auditing to ensure financial accuracy

• Maintenance of customer credit records with precision

• Proficiency with Sage Intacct and Quickbooks Online

• Support the execution of year-end closings in accordance with industry standards

• Some management of payroll and issuing of paychecks

• Preparation of cash flow statements to monitor financial status

• Handling EFT - Electronic Funds Transfers efficiently and securely

  Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience in Auditing

• Experience with Sage Intacct and Quickbooks Online

• Proven ability to support Year End Closings

• Knowledge of Payroll processing

• Ability to prepare Cash Flow Statements

• Experience in entering and coding invoices

• Knowledge of EFT - Electronic Funds Transfer
