The Business Information Developer Sr is responsible for developing machine learning models, RPA/macro, data mining queries and dynamic reports with the purpose of identifying overpayment opportunities that will contribute to cost of care savings and total program savings.
Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Develops strategic report applications from the Data Warehouse.
Establishes and maintains excellent knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, programming languages, and data integrity issues.
Piping and processing massive data-streams in distributed computing environments such as Hadoop to facilitate analysis.
Develop automation to validate claims overpayment.
Writing SQL code for data analysis as well as to expand and maintain our delegate data platform and datasets.
Develop ETL code and complex procedures relating to data transformation.
Use strong programming skills to explore, examine and interpret large volumes of data in various forms.
Performs analyses of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and/or complex business problems, utilizing advanced statistical techniques and mathematical analyses and broad knowledge of the organization and/or industry.
Interacts with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information related to areas of specialization.
Requires a BS/BA degree; 2-3 years related analytical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Advanced expertise with data analysis in Python or equivalents analytical tools comprehensive experience with Teradata, SQL, Hadoop/Spark, or equivalent data base tools.
Preferred experience in healthcare and prior knowledge of healthcare data and clinical concepts.
Familiarity with relational database environments such as MS SQL Server, Oracle required.
Experience working with large datasets.
PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
The majority of time will be spent programming. This job is more focused on very complex data mining analysis, coordinating the activities of a project team, and developing complex strategic reporting applications.
