Raytheon Technologies Contracts Specialist in West Des Moines, Iowa
The Collins Accessory Systems (CAS) segment of the Power and Controls business is a diverse business providing products supporting Military and Commercial Air-framers and Industrial markets. The Contracts group supporting the Engine Nozzle portion of the business has an immediate opening for a Contracts Administrator in its West Des Moines, IA site.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all facets of contract administration on aerospace and industrial end users, including MRO
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Receipt, review, and processing of customer solicitations/RFPs
Proposal preparation; review and negotiation of contract terms and conditions
Preparation of contract documents including non-disclosure agreements and memoranda of agreement; order reviews and acknowledgments
Support forecasting the demand for particular products to drive supply chain activities.
Flow down of contract requirements to internal stakeholders
Change management, identification of contract and business risk
Accounts receivable support/reporting
Audit support; and contract close out as well as company initiatives including ACE, standard work and business financial goals
Minimal travel required (<10%)
Willingness to work nonstandard hours
Some Holiday hours may be required based on business need
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR
Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience OR
In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
Engineering/Other Technical Positions: Bachelor’s degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
5 plus years’ experience relevant to Contract Administration preferably with both U.S. Government and Commercial type contracts is preferred
FAR/DFARS working knowledge
