Job Duties:

The Digital Product Manager will help define, transform and drive forward the future digital experience of both patients and providers at MercyOne. Using his or her business, creative and technical chops, the Senior Digital Product Manager will lead both complex and business-critical digital health products and services in a start-up environment. He/She will be responsible for synthesizing consumer, market and industry insights and for developing the value proposition for his/her product/service line through a data-driven approach. He/She will also be an evangelist for human-centered design principles. Current knowledge of federal and state legislative impacts on digital health care delivery and reimbursement is required.

This individual will act as a key liaison between Digital Health, Executive and clinical sponsors, other internal MercyOne organizations (such as IT, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Finance as appropriate) and external organizations and partners. He or she will be responsible for defining, prioritizing and driving the successful implementation of the digital health strategy and leading efforts to embed innovation into care delivery. Through exceptional communication and relationship development skills, he/she provides guidance and leadership to digital concerns including: user experience, business requirements, technical implementation, customization, third-party integration and metrics / analysis.


Requires a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Design, Healthcare Administration or related area. In addition, it requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in consumer-facing digital product management or digital program management. At least 2 years of experience with eCommerce and mobile platforms is required. Consulting or Digital Agency experience strongly preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.

Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and must be adept at communicating with colleagues at all levels of organizations. Must have experience developing compelling presentations for clients and Executives.

Requires fluency in written and spoken English.

Candidates must provide proof of launching a digital consumer-facing product, including role, URL and/or app name.

Travel within the state of Iowa is required and estimated at 50%.
