Wells Fargo Enterprise Services Governance Office- Services Management Consultant in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant to be a part of the Enterprise Service Governance Office (ESGO) and will report to the Services Management Team Leader as an individual contributor. The ESGO is part of Enterprise Business Resiliency within the Chief Administration Office (CAO) which identifies the Services Wells Fargo performs across the enterprise, the Service Components used to perform these Services, and those that provision and consume these Services. The ESGO partners with subject matter experts and stakeholders representing all lines of business to maintain the inventories, data, and linkages included in the Service Catalog. The ESGO then leverages this information to support various regulatory obligations. The Services Management Team is specifically responsible for supporting Enterprise Service Catalog by maintaining an enterprise-wide inventory of Services and Components required for Service delivery and ensuring services and all requested changes meet the Enterprise Services Standards and Guidelines through defined process and controls.

This position will work closely with business leaders, finance teams, and the control executive community to support the Service Catalog. Effectively communicating with business partners and appropriately escalating risks are key elements of the job. In this role, you will:

  • Support service and criticality governance with the maintenance of and adherence to service and service criticality definitions, standards, and guidance, which includes driving the remediation of inconsistencies, non-adherence, or exceptions.

  • Support the maintenance of Service linkages to BCP Function, AU, Service Components, which includes driving the remediation of inconsistencies, non-adherence, or exceptions.

  • Assist in the governance and change management activities specific to the service change process. Including process improvement, monitoring for gaps and proactively engaging appropriate business stakeholders when there are opportunities for enhancements and/or disconnects between upstream and downstream users of services.

  • Partner with Service roles and provide credible challenge when necessary to help the business define the services that meet their needs.

  • Ensure efficiency, quality, cost effectiveness of solutions, and pipeline management relating to assigned operations

  • Research moderately complex business, operational, and strategic initiatives that require analytical skills, basic knowledge of organizational strategy and Business Execution, and understanding of international business

  • Work independently to make recommendations for support function by providing support and leadership

  • Assist in the planning and execution of a variety of programs and initiatives that may include risk mitigation, efficiency, and customer experience

  • Collaborate and consult with team leaders in developing project plans, policies and procedures

  • Provide leadership in management of relationships and implementation of programs, services, and initiatives with cross functional business partners

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 4+ years of Management consulting, Strategy Consulting, or Business Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals and work under pressure with a sense of urgency in a dynamic and evolving environment

  • Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills

  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Familiarity with Recovery and Resolution Planning is a plus

  • Experience with executing, maintaining, and the governance of a Service Catalog is a plus

  • Experience partnering with multiple enterprise functions such as Enterprise Business Continuity and Resiliency Planning (EBCRP), Supply Chain Management, Third Party Operations, Enterprise Analytics and Allocations, Technology, Corporate Properties Group, the Law Department, and Human Resources

  • Partner with stakeholders responsible to document, improve and strengthen processes that support the Services including ensuring adherence to data quality and control standards

Job Expectations:

  • Available locations: Charlotte, NC; Des Moines, IA; Chandler, AZ; Minneapolis, MN. No other locations will be considered. Hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office, 2 days virtual.
