Wells Fargo Senior Lead Process Engineer in West Des Moines, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Process Engineer in Wholesale Lending Operations. This leader serves as an internal consultant to business and executives and product owners responsible for developing, improving, and optimizing business process, solving critical customer and business challenges, and driving measurable performance improvement

In this role, you will:

  • Work as an experienced level process consultant who will organize, lead, and facilitate large scale companywide strategic redesign projects

  • Ensure effective relationships among the design teams

  • Identify complex analyses and apply results to initiatives that support recommendations for optimal approaches; including proposed technology, staff and structure changes, and cost estimates

  • Partner with executives and more experienced managers companywide to help define the business strategy

  • Create and execute corresponding business plans and initiatives

  • Interpret policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications, US:

  • 7+ years of Process Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and understanding of product management, development, or consulting

  • Ability to self-manage initiatives including defining approaches, deliverables, communication plans, and driving progress

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification

  • Expert level knowledge and experience deploying Six Sigma and reengineering disciplines

  • Service design or journey mapping experience

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience

  • Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas

  • Ability to manage process improvement initiatives to optimize operational effectiveness and efficiencies

  • Experience with Agile mindset and execution methodologies

Wage band for this position is $111,100 - $197,500
