Wells Fargo Senior Operations Processor in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Operations Processor- Contract Validation (Merchant Services KYC Ops Team) to support Merchant Services Onboarding Operations KYC team in executing CIP & CDD activities for New Merchant applications and existing customer base.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and be responsible and accountable for assigned cases

  • Communicate directly with internal partners, as needed

  • Serve as an advocate for the bank policy, the customer, and internal partners

  • Manage a pipeline of customer requests against timelines outlined in enterprise policy, and business procedures

  • Keep management updated on progress of assigned work

  • Consult with Financial Crimes partners, as needed

  • Attention to details required

  • Adherence to timelines required

  • Escalation of customer concerns or complaints to management, as needed

  • Support Operations in completing larger and more complex business, operational, and customer support initiatives and overall effectiveness of team performance

  • Use technical expertise in the designated area and resolve escalated issues

  • Provide feedback and present ideas for improving or implementing processes and customer support

  • Perform complex operational and customer support initiatives within Operations functional area

  • Assist staff, managers, and colleagues and provide guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures

  • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to perform work and action requests

  • Provide subject matter expertise and interpretation of procedures to staff

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

  • Interact with internal customers

  • Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Practical experience in KYC: onboarding and ongoing customer profile updates/refresh

  • Knowledge and application/execution of controls

  • Payment (acquiring, issuing, network) experience; financial services experience

  • Project management experience

  • CAMS, CFE, PMP, Six Sigma certification (or in progress certification)

Job Expectations:

  • Fulfill CIP/CDD activities on New Merchant Applications for Merchant Services.

  • Maintain relationships with Sales related to open cases
