Agriland FS Staff Accountant in Winterset, Iowa

AGRILAND FS is looking for a motivated, self-starter who is excited to learn and grow with us as Staff Accountant. This individual will be responsible for reconciling accounts, reviewing operating lines, and posting vendor checks and should have strong adaptability and problem-solving skills.
Core Responsibilities:
Approve wires, ACHs, and positive pay exceptions
Calculate ending inventory valuation
Reconcile product shrink and chart of account balances
Maintain customer stock records
What we need from you:
A four-year degree in accounting or business is preferred, with at least 2 years of accounting/finance experience
Working understanding and experience with reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, balance sheets, internal control, and billing
Excellent attention to detail, computer skills, and internal and external customer service skills
Able to maintain confidentiality
